Our newly elected president made the following statement yesterday when meeting with Republican leaders, "You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done." He also made the following statement, "if we don't get this done we (the democrats) could lose seats and I could lose re-election. But we can't let people like Rush Limbaugh stall this. That's how things don't get done in this town."
First of all, it is extremely dangerous for any president, black, white, brown, yellow or red to make this kind of statement. Is this man threatened by the likes of Rush and his audience or any dissenting opinion? This is the type of garbage coming from a Marxist or Communist regime. Is Obama's Marxist and Communist colors beginning to show? After all he was influenced by the likes Saul Alinksy, Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright and others.
Secondly, Obama hasn't even been in the White House a week and he is thinking about getting re=elected. Will he do to America what he did to the people of Illinois when he was their Senator? To refresh your memories, he started running for President after serving only two years in the Senate. So does this mean he is going to neglect us only after 4 days and start running for re-election? Seems like it.
I stand by what my gut has been telling me, Barack Obama is in this for himself and his whole political career has been about himself. SHEER ARROGANCE!
We need to stand up and start flooding the Washington phone lines and voicing our concerns. I have already made 5 calls and I would encourage everyone who feels this country is headed in the wrong direction under this man to do the same. We still have a voice and can make a difference. It will never do us any good to just sit back and complain, we need to take action and be pro-active. The same way Barack Obama mobilized his followers we can do the same but we must do it!
If we do not take action future generations will have to pay for our apathy and laziness!
