Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.)

Why is it that the government, our Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.) loves rewarding failures and punishing success?

Close to 1 trillion dollars was needed to help our ailing economy or else we would just collapse into ruins. We needed to help our housing industry because Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae needed more money to pay their top excutives and donate to political godfathers. We needed to help that hugh insurance giant, AIG from collapse because they needed more money to have their lavish and secretive parties. We need to shore up the banking industry because of their crazy sub prime lending practices and outlandish salaries to non-deserving executives. Then states like California and New York have their hands out for their piece of the bailout pie because of their out of control spending. Now, it is the US Automakers who are wanting money to help them out of their financial mess.

What do each of these have in common? They are all failures, thanks to their poor management, out of control spending, outrageous salaries, and outlandish greed. Yet our Adsolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.) is willing to use our money that we entrust to them to bail these idiots out. Then they have the nerve to tell us that "WE" will be the owners of these failing entities. I have news for our Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.), I for one do not want anything to do with these LOSERS. But our Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.) think they know better and are ready to do whatever they can to prop up these failures.

However on the other hand our Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.) were ready to punish companies like Walmart, Microsoft, AT&T and Exxon for being successful. These companies were called "greedy" because they were profitable, (imagine that!). Now our Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G) would like to punish those people who have the nerve of making over $250k per year by taking some of their hard earned money away and rewarding those who are have done nothing at all to deserve it.

Do we have an Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.) or is it just me?

ROBIN HOOD IN REVERSE

We all know the story of Robin Hood, the bandit who took from the rich to give to the poor. Well meet Robin Hood of Wallstreet who takes from the poor and gives to the rich. This is exactly what this bailout has done!

Check out the following salaries from 2003 - 2007:

  • Richard Fuld, Lehman Brothers $256,411,839
  • Kenneth Lewis, Bank of America $133,360,889
  • James Dimon, JP Morgan Chase $108,724,585
  • Lloyd Blankfein , Goldman Sachs $102,744,979
  • Phillip Purcell, Morgan Stanley $ 95,189,490
  • James Cayne, Bear Stearns $ 82,537,003
  • E. Stantley O'Neill, Merrill Lynch $ 80,969,684
  • William Harrison, JP Morgan Chase $ 71,203,439
  • Charles Prince III, Citigroup $ 65,455,138
  • John J. Mark, Morgan Stanley $ 41,157,683
  • John A. Train, Merrill Lynch $ 15,062,141
  • V. Kram Pandit, Citigroup $ 250,000

It seems as the last person made very little compared to the others but WAIT, the $250,000 was the amount this fat cat made for one month of work!

Now I am all for the free enterprise system and I would never knock anyone who made the amounts listed above. Yet what upsets me the most is that these people made all this money and it seems none of them were worth it as we are now being asked to bail them out for the mis-managment of their companies. And who is helping them in taking from the poor to give to the rich? None other than Henry Paulson, Secretary of the Treasury who was in charge of Goldman Sachs. As it is said, "birds of a feather flock together".

Once again we the people get the royal end of the stick!

545 People by Charlie Reese

love it when I receive articles that are full of passion such as the one I am going to post. This was sent to me by my brother via his son-in-law and I want to share it with all my subscribers.
So here it is:

545 People
by
Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them. Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes? You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does. You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does. You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does. You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does. You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does. One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices , 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country. I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank. I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes. Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party. What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it. The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to. It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair. If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red. If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ, it's because they want them in IRAQ. If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.
There are no insoluble government problems. Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like 'the economy,' 'inflation,' or 'politics' that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do. Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible. They, and they alone, have the power. They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees. We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

What you do with this article now that you have read it is up to you, though you appear to have several choices.
1. You can send this to everyone in your address book, and hope they do something about it.
2. You can agree to vote against everyone that is currently in office, knowing that the process will take several years.
3. You can decide to run for office yourself and agree to do the job properly.
4. Lastly, you can sit back and do nothing, or re-elect the current bunch.

YOU DECIDE, BUT AT LEAST SEND IT TO EVERYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK, MAYBE SOMEONE IN THERE WILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Remember if each person sends to a minimum of 10 people, and each one repeats this action, this e-mail will be received by millions very quickly. That's the power the INTERNET has. But everyone who receives this MUST SEND TO 10 MINIMUM (or more) in their address book!

TIME TO RECONSIDER YOUR VOTE

With the Senate passing this so called "bailout" with all the artificial "sweeteners" it is time for voters to reconsider who they will be voting for. From  the original three pages  that it started with to  the now over four-hundred pages, this bill will be loaded with PORK! Now did you read what I just said? "Sweeteners" new code name for "Pork". They can call it whatever they want  it will still be pork.

The "piggies" in Washington just love "porking" the American people and the American people just keep grabbing their ankles and taking it. When are we going to say, ENOUGH, YA BASTA! And if you think the so called "OVER SIGHT"  comittees are going to  be looking out for you ,then I want to talk to you about a couple of  really awesome bridges I would love to sell you.

It is time to take back America and find a few good men and women to replace what we have in Washington!

Change you can believe in? Yep, I can believe that, especially when the only change I will see and feel will be the change in my pocket.

Congress Should Stay Home

Our 10%, DO NOTHING CONGRESS, headed by The Can't Get Anything Done Pelosi, Reed, Frank and Dodd should just stay home!
Last weekend the sky was falling and the end of the world was upon us if The Socialist's Bailout Plan was not passed.
Well unless you were Rip Van Winkle and have been asleep for the last 20 years, you missed it.

The sky did not fall, the sun came up this morning and Americans let their voices be heard. The courage of some politicians won and the cowardice of others lost.  The stock market took a beating the first day losing 777 points while our DO NOTHING CONGRESS was in session and today when the DO NOTHING CONGRESS was away the market went up! Imagine that. Now if this does not send a clear message I do not know what will. Let  Free Enterprise work! And let this Congress do what it does best...NOTHING!

VIDEO THAT THE DEMOCRATS DO NOT WANT YOU TO SEE

The Democrats are quick to point the finger at George Bush  and the Republicans for the economic crisis we are currently going through. Yet they fail to point the finger at themselves. Take the time to watch and listen to the following video and then ask yourself if the garbage the Democrats are spitting out has all the smells of an unflushed toilet!

Let's take America back!

BAILOUT OR BUY-IN?

You can call a pig a dog but it is still a pig. You can call the bailout a buy-in but it is still a bailout.
Nancy Pelosi wants us to call this rescue package a "Buy-in" but no matter what you name it it is still a BAILOUT plain an simple.

Politicians from both ends of the spectrum want to use OUR money to bailout the corporate and political greed that has existed on Wallstreet and Washington  for years and make us believe that they are doing us a favor.
It is sickening to hear these people from the President on down tell us that this is the best thing for America.

You can call Socialism a "Buy-in" it is still Socialism.

I say we revolt and take our country back by throwing these idiots out of government and take back America and make it a government of the people and for the people. Let's call these self serving politicians by their true name. Socialists!

I don't know about the rest of America but I work hard for my money and do not want my money going to bailout a corrupt and greedy Wallstreet simply because politicians were asleep at the wheel . And for them to tell me that they will make sure that we get paid back is like a drug addict telling me he does not use drugs while he still has the needle in his arm.

LETTER TO MY ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES

Dear Friends and Family:

I am so upset with what Congress is trying to do to us by bailing out Wall Street at our expense. As you well know this so called "bail out" will be loaded with PORK and Americans will get screwed as usual.
You also know that greed will continue and politicians, lobbyists and Wall Street executives will add to their own pockets.

I wrote the following to Congressman Lamar Smith, Senators Kay Bailey Hutchinson and John Cornyn:

My letter to you will be very simple:
I oppose the so called Bailout Plan for Wall Street totally. I am angry that you would use our money to bailout these irresponsible companies, CEO's and politicians who have allowed this to happen to us.
YOUR VOTE WILL DETERMINE MY VOTE in November and in the future.

I urge each of you to contact your representatives and voice your opinion. Remember, they work for us not the other way around. Let our voices be heard!
