JESUS, THE COMMUNITY ORGANIZER

Today, Rep. Steve Cohen, D -Tenn made the statement that Jesus was a Community Organizer and that Pontius Pilate was a Governor.

I guess this was his attempt to compare Barrack Obama to Jesus and Sarah Palin to Pontius Pilate.

Grasping at straws? Yes I do believe he was. But what an ignorant attempt this was.

First, Jesus never ran for President of anything. He didn't have to,  for He was and is The King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Secondly, Jesus never flipped or flopped on any of His positions from day to day or changed based on which way the wind happened to be blowing, He believed in His message.

Thirdly, Jesus never cared or looked at polls to see what the flavor of the day was and that was because He was steadfast in His convictions regardless what was said of Him.

Fourth, I happen to personally know Jesus and Barrack for as much as you would love to be the Messiah, you are no Jesus!

Regarding the comparison of  Sarah Palin to Pontius Pilate, she has not killed anyone in fact she values life to the fullest and she knows without a doubt that LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION .

Mrs. Palin also is very comfortable in her beliefs and in her positions. Unlike Mr. Obama who struggles with who he is and what he actually stands for.

Mr. Obama wants us to believe that he is about a change that we can believe in but how can we? Which change does he want us to believe in?  His change of yesterday, the change he had today or the change he will have tomorrow. How can we believe in his type of change when everyday is different.

Obama's mentor, Saul Alinsky, who by the way dedicated one of his books to Lucifer said this in his book,  Reville for Radicals about liberals like Obama, "A liberal is one who puts his foot down on thin air." I guess this pretty much sums up the positions Mr. Obama takes. They are all cemented in thin air.

So Congressman Cohen be carefull comparing someone to Jesus as His sandals are way too big for anyone fit in!

CALL IN THE SECOND STRING

What a man! It seems as though Barrack Obama and Joe Biden are afraid of taking on Sarah Palin so Obama has decided to call in the second string to do his dirty work.

He had no use for Hillary Clinton as a competitor in the primaries and certainly no use for her as a running mate.

Yet he is willing for her to take on Sarah Palin. I wonder how long it will be before he will ask Michelle to do the same.

I guess both he and poor old Joe are afraid that if they take on Mrs. Palin also known as the Baracuda that she will slice them and dice them then hang them out to dry. They are afraid I am sure that the voters will realize that she has more of a backbone than the both combined! They are afraid that she will show the public that she is more of a man.

So now they are wanting to hide behind a woman's skirt but in Hillary's case her pant suit.

Man O Man this is so sad and totally laughable.

This reminds me of when my youngest daughter kick a boy's butt for picking on her younger brother but in this case it was understandable, the boy was about five years older and twice the size of my son.

Way to go Barry and Joey! You have my vote for wimps of the year!

GOD BLESS BRISTOL PALIN

I for one identify with what Bristol and her boyfriend are going through, as my wife and I went through the same forty-five years ago. She was sixteen and I was seventeen. She became pregnant and we married. Abortion was never an issue and looking back I would make the same decision and I am so glad that I did.

It was hard being married so young and along the way we made many mistakes but with each mistake made, our love for one another has been strengthened.

And today as I was going through my journal I came across this entry that I addressed to my oldest daughter and would like to share this entry with everyone.

        My First Born

Denise,
You are my first. Special, Precious and a Gift!
God sent you to us  and I remember as though it was just yesterday.
I was young but so proud!
I remember looking at you in your mother's arms and I honestly
thought you could see me.
Even though you were just a a few minutes old I said,
"Look, she is looking at me."
My mother kindly reminded me that your eyes could not yet focus.
Yet in that very moment I just knew you were looking at me, claiming me as I
claimed you.
My first born, my special love.
I love you and am so proud of you!
You are more than I deserve, yet God chose me to be your father on earth.!

++++++++++++

My wife and I have been blessed with two other children and with nine grand children and each have been a gift from God.

So to Bristol Palin I say stay firm, stay strong and above all God Bless you and yours always!

PALIN VS BIDEN

Ever since Sarah Palin has been selected to be McCain's VP pick the biased liberal media, liberal women's group and the Hollywood elite have beat up on Sarah Palin for having a child with Down's Syndrome and her ability to be able to handle the rigors of this offic

However I have never seen where the same media attacked Joe Biden when his wife was tragically taken in an auto accident, if the rigors of being a senator would be too much for him to handle especially in view of the fact that he had small children at home. In fact they praise him for being this awesome and dedicated father who was able to handle his duties and take the train home every day to take care and love his children.

A double standard? Absolutely!

The difference is that Joe Biden is a liberal Democrat and Sarah Palin is a smart, articulate and conservative Republican.

If Sarah Palin would have been a liberal Democrat she would have been praised as Mother Theresa. Liberals just cannot get over the fact that this lady is an awesome pick who is far superior to their Presidential and Vice Presidential  choice and they are quaking in their boots. They know that she has energized the conservative base and they did not expect this curve ball.

As far as the Hollywood elite, what do they know about family values? Abosultely nothing!

The only thing that I see coming out from all this is their sheer ignorance and bias.

As for myself, I say God Bless You and your family Sarah Palin and keep the faith. You are an awesome woman and you have a very awesome family! You Go Girl!

PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN

I was recently reviewing different web pages and blogs regarding this political season and the fireworks launched back and forth between political parties. However one thing struck me more than all the others and those were the statements made by Michele Obama.

She stated and I will be paraphrase her statement: First she claimed that for the first time in her adult life she was proud to be an American. In another statement she claimed that America was a downright mean country.

As I was absorbing these two remarks made by the potential First Lady of the United States I started thinking as to why someone in her position would make such a statement.  Was I missing something? Were my eyes closed to what was happening in America today? Was America a mean country? Are we proud to be Americans? So the deeper I reflected on these questions the more I realized that Michele Obama was wrong and wondered which America does she live in.

I looked back as far as my memory could take me and I came to the conclusion that I have always been a PROUD AMERICAN! Even in the darkest hours of our history America has always been a great country. It has given those who have come here the opportunity to make something of themselves, to realize the great American Dream. I still get excited and get goosebumps when the National Anthem is played. I feel proud when I place my hand over my heart when saying the Pledge of Allegiance. I feel so proud when I hear or sing God Bless America, land of the free and home of the brave, for surely God has blessed us. I am proud of my service to this country in the Navy and Air Force.

What about being a mean country. I don't think so! Americans are the most generous in the world. Compared to other countries our giving to disaster relief organizations far exceed everyones. Americans are quick to lend a helping hand to those truely in need. However I can understand why some would get the perception that we are a mean and evil country. Just look at the news media and what they focus on. The majority of what they cover is bad so I guess what they say is true about the media, "if it bleeds, it leads." Look at our politicians on both sides. All they try and do is shove down our throats how bad things are rather then how great we are as a nation and how great we can still become.

So in the end the only conclusion I can come to is that I feel so sorry for Michele Obama that she would feel like she does, especially when she has been given opportunities that have led her to where she is today. Only in America can we achieve our dreams. And Michele, I for one am a Proud American and no Michele we are not a mean country. God bless you and  yours and God bless America.

THE CASE AGAINST HILLARY

Democrats and Republicans alike felt that an unbeatable ticket would have been Obama/Clinton.

In fact that ticket was often referred to as the "Dream Team". Yet is was not to be as in the end Joe Biden was selected to be Obama's running mate.
Granted that we vote for the top of the ticket, yet with all his weaknesses Obama was in serious need of help due to his lack of experience. Hillary could have shored up Obama to help carry him over the top.

So why was Hillary passed over . Why was she dis-respected by not even vetting her. A lot of reasons have been given and I also have my reasons and they are as follows:
  • Picking Hillary Clinton would have upstaged Barrack Obama because the spot light would have been on her instead of him and as everyone knows by now, Obama has a huge ego and that ego would never allow him to be upstaged.
  • Hillary is by far smarter than Obama. She has more experience on the national scene, being very involved for eight years in Bill Clinton's administration.
  • Her tenure in the U.S. Senate is far supeior to Obama's mere 140 days.
  • Hillary received more of the popular vote than Obama and actually won the bigger states. So there is that bitterness that still exists in the fact that she is liked more than he is and again out comes his ego.
  • Barrack and Michele were hoping that they could make history by being elected to be the first black president but here again Bill and Hillary beat them to it as Bill Clinton was known as the First Black President.
  • Hillary would have at her side Bill Clinton who is far superior to Barrack although lately Bill has had diarrea of the mouth.
  • Lastly, Barrack would spend the majority of his time looking over his shoulder to see when the knife would be inserted and twisted in his back.

So as everyone can see The Dream Ticket would not have been so dreamy and Barrack did what was the safest thing he could have done and that was pick poor old Joe Biden.

OBAMA'S QUALIFICATIONS TO BE PRESIDENT

On Saturday night's special edition of Hannity and Combs, a question was asked of a former Texas Congressman what qualifications did Obama have that qualified him to be the president of the United States.

One answer this congressman gave was that Obama had good judgement.

I found this answer to be one of the dumbest I have ever heard for the following reasons:
  • Does a man who has good judgement associate with a man who hates America as much as Jeremiah Wright does. Who in the world would sit and be a member of this man's congregation for 20 years and be exposed to the hate that Wright has for this country. Apparently Obama agreed with his pastor to stick around for 20 years or displayed poor judgement.
  • Does a man who has good judgement associate with an enemy of the state such as Ayers. A man who was proud of his attacking his own country. Or would a man with good judgement distant himself from this known American born terrorist. The excuse that he was only 8 years old when Ayers was doing his evil deeds does not pass muster.
  • Does a man who has good judgement associate with a man like Resko who has been convicted of various crimes. A man with good judgement would not.

These are just a few of the examples of supposedly great judgement Obama poccesses.

Think about it and make a judgement for yourself. Does Barrack Obama have the good judgement to be President of the greatest country in the World?

SIGN OF THE CROSS by KDMaes

I am not a Catholic nor am I a religious man but I do love the sign of the cross.

In fact I often make the sign as it does remind me of the following:

  • That God my Father is Creator of all and without Him I would not exist!
  • God the Son, the only begotten Son, the ultimate sacrifice. Because of The Son I have a second chance and because of Him I have life. This is the ultimate love.
  • Then there is the Holy Spirit. Here is my Counselor, Teacher and Comforter. He counsels me as to right and wrong. He opens my eyes and teaches me as well as shows me the way. He will comfort me in my darkest hours, in my lonely nights and in my losses.

In the sign of the cross is My Creator, my Saviour and my Comforter and this means so much to me.

Each day it reminds me where I am from, who I am and where I am going.

To me it is not a matter of religion it is a matter of what I believe.

The sign of the cross therefore to me is pretty awesome!
